Doggy Daycare Policies

Age & Vaccination Requirements

  • Puppies are welcome starting at 8 weeks old, as long as they are current on vaccines appropriate for their age
  • Dogs 16 weeks and older must be fully vaccinated by a veterinarian
  • Dogs over 2 years old must be spayed or neutered

Trial Day Requirement

All new dogs must complete a trial day before starting daycare.

  • Trial days begin at 10:00 AM on the day your dog will normally attend daycare.
  • If your dog does well, they may stay for the full day.
  • If they do not adjust well, they will need to be picked up early.

Some dogs adjust in just a few minutes, while others may need a few hours. Once your dog successfully completes their trial day, you may drop off anytime after 8:00 AM on their scheduled daycare days going forward.

Health Requirements

Dogs showing any of the following symptoms cannot attend daycare that day:

  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting
  • Intestinal worms
  • Eye infections
  • Any injuries
  • Within 10 days after spay or neuter surgery

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Hours

You may drop off and pick up your dog during the following hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Attendance Policy

Your dog’s daycare day reserves a spot for them.  If your dog cannot attend their scheduled daycare day, that day will still be charged, as the space is held for them.

(Think of it like reserving a spot in human daycare.)

Arrival & Departure

For the safety of all pets and staff all dogs must be leashed at all times when arriving and leaving the facility.

Flea Prevention

We strongly recommend keeping your dog on year-round flea prevention.

If a dog arrives with fleas:

  • A flea pill ($10–$15) will be administered that eliminates fleas within 30 minutes.
  • A bath ($20–$75) will also be required depending on coat type and severity.

Behavior Policy

We maintain a zero-aggression policy.  All dogs must be friendly with other dogs and people in order to attend daycare.e and severity.

About Humping Behavior

Humping is a natural behavior that can occur in both male and female dogs—even if they are spayed or neutered.

If it happens occasionally, we will redirect the behavior. However, if a dog continually humps other dogs, it may create tension or aggression, and they may no longer be able to attend daycare.
